Connor Brown
Founder & Lead Tech
It started with a purpose-built wireless network — designed and run properly from day one — and that footprint has grown across multiple areas and use cases. It hasn't stopped there. Connor is the driving force behind The Nerd Herd, bringing a hands-on, no-nonsense approach to IT and a simple goal: make technology work the way it's supposed to — fast, reliable, and without the usual headaches.
We create coverage footprints in areas not served by the NBN — where fixed-line and traditional options don't cut it. Since 2025 we're also a partner on the NBN network, covering most Australians. Amazon LEO/NBN is coming soon, which will extend that reach toward all Australians.
Specialising in infrastructure, cloud hosting, and remote environments, Connor focuses on practical, real-world solutions that businesses can depend on. He's constantly behind the scenes designing systems, solving problems, and fine-tuning performance to keep everything running smoothly.
Rather than following trends, Connor builds solutions that are efficient, scalable, and actually make sense. If something slows down, breaks, or just isn't right — he's already working on it.
Outside of work, Connor can be found having a coffee, going for a drive, or travelling around Australia.
